Did you know that Google Maps has a layer that lets you check the weather? And it works anywhere in the world. Yes, Google has teamed up with The Weather Channel ( http://www.weather.com/ ) to bring you the weather. Weather Layer In the upper right-hand corner you will find the map selector: Earth (Google Earth) and Satellite (Basic Map). Choose Satellite and you'll get a drop-down menu with a list of the various layers you can activate. Click on Weather and you'll be presented with a cloud covered map and weather conditions. Zoom Slider Setting the zoom slider towards the middle will get you a birds-eye view of the City-level and this is where the weather information kicks in.
